Meetings

The Surf Club holds regular meetings on the first Wednesday of each month and during busier times of the year on the third Wednesday of the month –as advised by the Executive Committee. Face to face meetings are held in the Surf Club function room, while the online meetings are held through ‘Zoom’. Signing up to zoom is free – Sign up to Zoom here

The Executive Committee will contact members via email prior to a meeting confirming the date, time and whether the meeting is face to face or online.

All members are welcome to and encouraged to attend Surf Club meetings.

The members area is your one-stop shop for member information. Creating an account is quick and easy. Once you’re logged in you will be able to access your Patrol roster/hours, Renew your membership, View & update your personal information, View your awards & assessments and gain access to Surf Lifesavings eLearning.

Membership Renewal 

For current members wishing to renew their membership this can be done through the Members Portal.

Skills maintenance

Skills maintenance is an important part of a lifesavers training. Each year lifesavers are required to complete a theory and practical component, testing their knowledge and skills to ensure they continue to meet the standards set out in the awards they hold and that they are up to date with the latest updates that have occurred in the past 12months.

At the commencement of the new season members will automatically be allocated the current skills Maintenace course – it will appear in the ‘My Training’ area of the eLearning platform. The CTO will notify members when this is live and ready to be completed.

Once the theory component has been completed members will be able to attend a practical component – The CTO will notify members of dates and times for these practical components.

Members can continue to access the theory component throughout the season to refresh their knowledge as required.
